Music for Mercy brings artists, fans, businesses, and the community together through live music and fundraising events that help support the Children's Mercy Cardiac Unit.

The Story Behind Music for Mercy

This mission is personal.

Music for Mercy began from a deeply personal place. Gail Simmons created the music event in a quest to raise funds for the Children's Mercy Cardiac Unit in recognition of the tremendous staff who helped save her two daughters' lives.

What started as a way to give back has grown into a continuing effort to bring people together through music, raise awareness, and help ensure the cardiac unit has support for the needs of the children and families it serves.
